it was amazing

I actually can relate to Ruby Bridges. Faith was a huge part of my childhood. Any time someone was out of line with my grandmother, she would always pray for them. To this day, I still have not witnessed anyone else praying for someone that was mean to them. The Story of Ruby Bridges is a bittersweet one. She is a small child living through integration of public schools. Every day she is made mocked and has things thrown at her while walking into the school. Not once does she get upset; she only prays for the individuals who are mean to her. Not sure how well the religious part will go over in the public schools sector, but I loved it! If allowed...it would be wonderful to use during a Civil Rights unit.
