I wasn't disappointed. This was a fun Ally Carter read. I liked the main characters Katarina and Hale. Hale was more cute with Kat than she was with him, which was a little sad, but their relationship was still gratifying to me. I enjoyed reading about the beautiful pieces of artwork, the museums they were kept in, and the countries the characters traveled to. I can't wait to go to those places myself. The action in this book was fair, not as exciting as the Gallagher Academy series. Though, one of the scenes near the end made me laugh pretty hard. Kat was coming down the stairs dressed up in a disguise. Her guy friends had NEVER seen her dressed up like that before and they could so NOT keep quiet about it. (Ally Carter's sense of humor is great.) I'd rate this for ages 12 and up.
