I am a Packers fan born post-Vince. So I have heard the accounts of his greatness all my life. Reading the book, the mythical WI hero lost the mythical (and probably WI) aspect of that descriptor. Being a teacher, I am envious of Vince's approach and although I try to emmulate today in the classroom but have found it to be less effective as the balance between pushing one to success and being overbeing continues to narrow the operational definition of pushing, while widening the definition of overbeing. Regardless, although the book was a bit slow early on, I found it inspirational.
