Well folks, it turns out I am a closeted Jane Austin fan. Before, when I thought of this author my mouth automatically turned down at the corners in quite the sour expression, but after much humming and hawing, I read Pride and Prejudice. And I couldn't put it down. There were times when I was reading that I thought, 'Boy I certainly should be bored right now.' Instead I just kept turning those pages. Who would have thought I was so interested in books of manners?
