Sebastian asks Garnet to marry him… and she says yes, but with reservations… and they decide to start a new coven… they get 11 people, including William – her coworker - (for a total of 13 counting them) at their first meeting… Garnet is aware of a coyote that crosses her path numerous times.

Sebastian is missing… he doesn’t show up to a horticulture meeting or at home… and then Matyas (his son) shows up – he is also concerned about his dad… Matyas & Garnet make an uneasy peace, and work together to find Sebastian… Garnet locates a few of Sebastian’s ghouls, who are mad at Sebastian because has told them he not using their ‘services’ any more…

The Coyote aka The Trickster, is a god inhabiting a man like Lilith inhabits Garnet… and Coyote needs an infusion of power… so he enthralls a woman to help him, they capture Sebastian – staking him, putting him in stasis, & burying him in a coffin… and go after Garnet… The Coyote tricks Garnet into revealing Lilith, and Coyote steals her… but Lilith is still too tied up with Garnet…

Matyas & Garnet locate & rescue Sebastian… and Garnet & Sebastian’s combined power is strong… The take Lilith back…. And Garnet integrates Lilith with her whole self… hmmmm, I wonder what that means… They transmit some rejuvenating power to Coyote….

And things are looking rosy…

Zee Sorry, but could you put a spoiler warning on your review. I'm only halfway through the book and just wanted to see what others made of it. You completely gave the book away. :-(o
