Sometimes in life Eeyore's invade your life and try to ruin it, i now know that if you follow your own way and try to stay open minded about life, you will be a better person and you will in turn, know more. Taoism is a combination of interesting principals that I never knew. It has taught me to notice more and keep my eyes open all while keeping in mind the idea of "change is good" and "kindness" is the only way to live fully. To be better, you have to change and understand that people around you are sent sometimes in your direction to "corrupt" you and teach you something invaluable. It's your job to keep close to your morals and core teachings and understand that life is full of "outer-beauty" and not "inner-beauty".

Taylor G. Hi Maya, I know exactly what you mean. After reading this book I do understand that the reason that there is so much grief in the world is because of the Eeyores who are spreading all the sadness. The world would be a better place if people were more positive about life. Even Piglet said, “I wouldn’t mind his being miserable by himself, if he enjoys it so. But why does he have to spread it around?” I think people just spread mean statements around to make themselves feel better but it’s not ok. The Eeyores of the world are also afraid, they are afraid to risk positive thoughts and emotions. Eeyores only see what they want to see. These are the type of aspects that get in the way of living in harmony with the Tao. The Eeyore effect is inflicting our world with bad thoughts and is starting to influence everyone in it. That’s why we need to stop this so we can still bring progress for humanity.
