it was amazing
bookshelves: feminism, ladies, old-timey, silents, vaudeville
read count: 2

It's so delightful to be re-reading this one after 15 years spent stewing in theater books and stage biographies. This book and Nights at the Circus basically set my reading tastes for life, so I'm glad to see it's holding up brilliantly after all these years.
