it was amazing
bookshelves: historical

This has been on my keeper shelf for years now. This book has it all--an amazingly cool heroine, a ridiculously sexy hero, and an awesome story. It never feels forced or trite, in fact, it was incredibly fresh and original. This is one of the few books I've ever read where my whole body would feel engaged because it was just. that. hot. and. sexy. I have been reading to pick up more of her backlist. Maybe that's a good idea to keep me busy for the rest of summer.

Erin I am contemplating buying this but I need some questions answered first, if thats alright with you? First, Does the hero cheat-or sleep with other woman in this?

Annabel Joseph He does one time when she's still rejecting him and he's trying to abide by her wishes. (It sounds weird but he kind of honorably slakes his lusts elsewhere rather than corrupt her.) But then the next time he tries to do so, he can't do it because he's just too in love with her. There's definitely no passive-aggressive cheating and him being an ass. He's very protective of her, it's super sexy. I will say before you buy...the book has several "digitizing" errors, (I assume it was scanned) but I just got used to them as I read.
