This story of Alice 'in Wonderland' Liddell. The book opens in Alice's old age and she looks back recalling not only her relationship as a child with Lewis Carrol (Charles Dodgson) but also her adult relationships, loves, and losses. Through it all the thread of her formidable years at Oxford with Mr. Dodgson runs through the narrative. I loved the Oxford setting (a personal favorite spot of mine) and the mesmerizing cadence of the story. I listened to the story as a digital download through the library's digital download center.
