As far as Teen Romance writers go, Ms. Fantaskey is a decent author.
Her two teen books are supernatural romances. This one has a more chemical feel to it but keeps thew reader's attention.
Her other book is the only decent teen vampire romance novel I've read to date making the characters more interesting and less inane than Ms. Meyer's books, redeeming the interest in romance with vampires.

This book plays on the concept of a modern Jekyll and Hyde theme with a twist. I can say that this is the best sequel to the classic horror story of Jekyll and Hyde than anything I've read on FF.NET. (Yes. I do go there.)

Even if you happen to be an adult who loves the classic, this book will entertain you
