Read in June, 2009

An interesting yarn, I guess. I didn't care too much for Auster's style, and I've been advised to go to his New York Trilogy instead.

The characters are fairly well-crafted, but I can't seem to care about what happens to any of them. Perhaps they are too morose or abstract.

I wouldn't start with this one to get hooked on Auster.
