I'm a fan of this series but I had to say this was probably my least favourite of them all. The suspense was lacking, the storyline was alright, and some parts were really REALLY corny. I think the dialogue between Roberto and Brandi could be improved a bit as it seemed too cliche. Brandi wasn't as strong as I liked because she was too caught up with the circumstances between her parents and her and that lowered her self-esteem so much. I personally prefer a kick-ass heroine but this story was a bit old-fashioned. Roberto was also very cheeeeeeesy!! But, I liked the romance between the two. I think that seemed to work but I had a lot of problems with the characters and some scenes. I loved the ending though. The suspense was lacking as I said; it just didn't work for me although this was an easy read. 3/5 stars.
