it was amazing

Loved Rhoda Janzen's delightfully honest voice, intelligence and laugh-out-loud humor. I was not prepared for how funny this book was. I expected tenderness, so the author's wit was a bonus.

I am not surprised that her publisher, for the paperback, chose a different cover. The bland beige original does not reflect this book's colorful voice.

But I am surprised that the book looks, ahem, remarkably like the(increcible) hardcover and paperback of my book, The Late, Lamented Molly Marx. Has anyone else noticed this? Not to be too literal, but I also found it odd that this second cover showed a blue dress, when the title of Janzen's book includes black dress.

Anyway, Rhoda, congrats on a great book.
