Favorite quote: "And all the grown-ups kept their clothes on, which, hallelujah, if you know what I mean."

While I can see why some might compare this to the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, I liked this much better, because Justin is a good kid, a smart kid, and a funny kid, while I found Greg to be altogether unsympathetic. Might make a fun first-Day-of-School read-aloud for third grade classrooms, and though it wouldn't take long to finish it, I think some of those kids would secretly be thrilled to hear that there is another kid like them (even if fictional), who still loves his stuffed animals, is still afraid of the dark corner of the basement, and thinks it's okay to be friends with a girl. {{gasp!}}
