It absolutely pains me to give one of JL's books only 3 stars. Even worse, I'm being generous with giving it 3 stars.
It's entertaining and kept my attention. I have enjoyed all of Jen's books. But this one right here? Um....weelllll...
I get it - My Fair Lazy is the perfect title for this book, because for the first 100 or so pages all I could think about it just how lazy Jen was being. I'm happy for her in her success but to sit around and whine about deadlines? C'mon Jen. Or should I say, grow up Peter Pan? Count Chocula? I'm sure she would appreciate a "Wedding Crashers" reference.
Still a fan, always will be, but I am expecting a LOT more from the next book, which I think is about volunteering? Don't disappoint me there, Jen. Just, don't. K? Thanks.
