it was ok

Just like its central plot, this book is terrific in theory, but terrible in execution. Another miserable example of a female character written by a man who is clearly not in touch with his feminine side - Jennifer's motivations and reactions felt totally false to me. And the climax suffers from option-itis - it feels designed to be filmed rather than read. Starts with a bang, and is on a steady decline from there.
