Unfortunately, I came into this novella with high expectations (when will I learn?), so I'm walking away with a shrug. The story of Blockade Billy is likable enough, but doesn't quite satisfy the build-up. I really enjoyed the nostalgic baseball lingo, and the characters involved would have been perfect in a baseball novel, but I felt let down by the revelations about "Billy" in the end. The second story Morality was also a bit weird. The main female character seems to lose all her marbles after committing an act of violence, that while atrocious, isn't as extreme as it could be. Not necessarily as good as I wanted, which is Mr. King's fault - he should not write his novels so well...
