I know there is at least one more book in this series, but I think I may skip it. There has been little to no improvement or maturation in Martin's writing, despite my hopes. It still reads like an amateur wrote it, like I might sound in my first fantasy novel. Disappointing, as some of the characters could be interesting were they not so trapped within cliches.
