I have been reading DK for about 10 years now...His latest novels have left me feeling that he has just mailed them in.I decided to read one of older books to see if I could recapture what it was that I originally found appealing about his writing. Boy, I'm sure glad I did. "Mr.Murder" originally written in 1993 is a fast paced suspense thriller that keeps you hanging on the edge of your seat.At times he is a little heavy on the descriptive prose (someone once said they thought "he had swallowed a thesaurus at birth").This was easy to overlook though as I found this book's original story riveting.I'll next read his latest "Frankenstein-Lost Souls" and hope it measures up to his older novels.
