Whispers
by Dean Koontz
by Dean Koontz
Quiet different to any other Koontz I've read, the first part of the book is like a crime novel free form any sort of 'horror' until the last chapter. This doesn't make it any less intresting tho. But where the story gets more Koontzlike is the second part of the book. You find a lot of answers to questions in this part, however it is somewhat predictable and you feel quiet sorry for the 'bad guy' in the book. This actually didn't have a bad ending, the visual imagery of 'the gates to hell' is pretty strong and makes me very glad I've never been forced into such a place.
