I am bored at work today, so I thought I'd use this as an excuse to give you my year-end report (because I want yours, too):
Worst book read in 2007: This one (Good Dog. Stay.) But, my Mom gave it to me, so I had to read it. I have a hunch that the worst-book-of-the-year would have instead gone to The Secret if I had read it (because my Mom gave me that one too) but I cannot force myself to read it after seeing the author on a TV talk show.
Best book read in 2007: Into the Wild. I'm only a few years behind on "discovering" this one.
The book I got hung up on in 2007, and had to use all my willpower to finish: Charlotte Simmons (but somehow it came out with more than 1 star, I may have to revisit that...). Love in the Time of Cholera is a close 2nd. I will not be paying $10 to see that movie. Unrequited love is overrated.
