This title has a much higher sexual ratio than I am used to reading. It surprised me and I wasn't sure I would like it since I generally read romance novels for, well, the romance. However, I think the author did an excellent job balancing all the hot sex with hot emotions. The story is about Micah Sloane, an undercover agent for Elite Ops who is bent on revenge against the assassin who killed his parents. The Elite Ops knows who this man's next hit will be - Risa Clay - a rape victim who is beginning to remember her violent ordeal. The author doesn't gloss over Risa's past, but instead does a decent job of allowing us to follow Risa's healing. I'm not sure I will read more of the Elite Ops and SEALS series just because I'm not a big fan of this sub-genere, but I did enjoy this read.
