8/9/10: I'm gonna give this a try, even though she seems to be going downhill with this series...

Ugh. Where do I begin? With the BDSM scene, of course. I guess I just didn't expect it, and know of people quitting the book (and series?) when they got to it because it was just too much. I could excuse it if I was reading erotica, but I'm not. Erotica wouldn't have nearly enough talk about feelings, and that's about 1/2 the book, as always. The other half is filled with descriptions of people's clothes, and sex. And maybe 2 pages total of plot. Plot which wrapped up wayyyyy too easily in the last 2 pages. Oh, Anita, I've stayed with you for 19 books, but you're a necromancer; you didn't raise the dead, and although you brought back all of the regulars it was just to sex 'em up. I do admit you did a bit of work, but acting as a "telecommuting" vampire executioner is a little lame.
LKH uses the same statements/paragraphs/ideas in the SAME book! Her grammar is atrocious, and she is far too full of herself.
I think our relationship is at the end.
