Read from July 11 to 15, 2010 — I own a copy, read count: 1

I never have the time or patience to actually write a review (so, sorry if this one sucks), but this book has inspired me ! I don't have words to describe how much I enjoyed it!

Jude Frances, an american psychologist who is tired from the life she's living, flees off to Ireland to spend 6 months in the charming village of Ardmore. Surronded by the spetacular scenery and living in the ancient but cozy cottage, Jude has the mission to find herself and consequently re-evaluate her life. As well as that, Jude discovers all about the local folklore and so she embarks on a research project to find more about it. The myths and legends were only supposed to be something to do- a task- but it actually helps Jude to find out how much power she holds if she is determined to avoid her own restricitions.

Jude was planning some alone time due to the fact that she did not know anybody, but she had forgot that the Irish were famous for their hospitality. Aidan Gallagher has travelled the world and is now back to Ireland to dedicate himself to his family's pub. He has a special way of telling time-worn stories and is an expert in his country's haunting myths, which means Aidan's path will cross with Jude's as soon as they begin to share cultural legends. As they start to undertake a story of their own, Aidan's desire for her sweeps him away from his duties at the pub and she steals his heart before his own eyes....
