^^YOU SAY IT BEST WHEN YOU SAY NOTHING AT ALL!^^

I was impressed with this offering in the Lords of the Underworld, this one had Amun keeper of secrets, the man you never hear utter a word or the secrets of the people he loves will come flowing out. Therefore, he doesn’t speak at all! If you are a fan of the series like I am, you know Amun went to hell and got invaded by some serious demons there, and now he is just a shell of his former self. Destruction, killing, and hate are all he is feeling; he is a danger to himself and those around him.

During all this Strider is dragging Haidee across the world so he can bring her to justice for killing their leader and friend a long time ago. Though, Strider is having some serious feelings of hate and lust for the woman he calls Ex. A hunter, and a woman who wants nothing more than to kill him and all his friends. If he can be honest, he seriously wants in her pants and hates himself for it. Fast forward Strider takes her home and places her in a room beside the friend he is unable to recognize.

So back at the fortress Amun is trapped in a hell that is his body and mind. The demons that now live there are making things hard for him, and Amun is unaware that outside lurk the beautiful angels bent on killing him. If only there was a way to come back to himself, well that comes in the form of Haidee who have the demons running from her, and is able to bring Amun to lucidity. Seems Haidee the hunter is the key to purging some demon ass, but all isn’t that bad. Amun wants in her pants too, and Haidee wants him there. With all this sexual tension going on, Haidee believes Amun to be someone else, and Amun knows her as the one who wants nothing more than to kill those he loves. Talk about a match made in heaven.

The only way Amun can rid himself of those annoying demons is to take a walk in hell, bringing them back home. Amun and his little hunter will have to enter hell and purge those suckers, and the odds are against them. Its not always death and destruction on their little mission. There is hot blinding lust, nothing says eff you to hell like a little sex. Why be scared, its only hell where you’re getting your groove on, in no way is that unsafe. Hadiee and Amun gotta do some serious battling, and a long the way learn some life changing truths.

I really enjoyed this one a lot, and its got everything to do with Paris, Strider and William. Those three had me in fits of laughter; Showalter brought the funny and the bromance. Loved Strider’s little crush on the angel *Miss Showalter is such a tease*. I loved Amun that man doesn’t need to say a damn thing but you find yourself listening anyways. Overall, a great addition to the series.
