** spoiler alert ** Oddly, this one is one of my favorite ID books, and yet it has the most strife between Roarke and Eve. I think what I liked best about it was the fact that they dealt with their issues very much in character. It's uncharacteristic for Eve to run away from anything--but when it comes to facing her feelings, that's when she does run...always. From the beginning and yet still now. It is a fatal flaw of hers.

And Roarke's pride still comes into play. His pride has always been one of the few things that can wreak havock on them as a couple--as a unit. But the way they worked through things just really impressed me.

And the ending is pure Nora. Especially this JD Robb version of her. I LOVED it.

And the twist?
Oh yeah babe....that's the goods right there.
