I wish I'd written this review much closer to when I read this book! Damn!

Well, as my five-star rating indicates, it was love. I've loved Robinson's novels, and I loved this book of essays. The prose is allusive, clear, and beautiful. Her ideas are interesting and wide-ranging. Robinson is definitely an intellectual with a rebellious streak. She absolutely doesn't just accept all the recieved ideas most of us do, and she argues forcefully for why we should stop, too.

I'll definitely be reading this again, and when I do, I'll write about it immediately so that I'll have more cogent things to say.
