Really this is more of a 2.5. The historical information and the insight into what happened during this segment of time, and how the people of Yugoslavia took enormous risks to assist downed airmen and aid in their rescue is fascinating. The writing is rather clumsy and repetitive, which makes reading this book more laborious than it needs to be.
