Therese Does the author talk about the rough parts, like lonlieness and fear and cold hard floors? Or is it just all about the cool stuff she's seeing?

Robin If I remember correctly, both. I tend to like travel narratives that relate the emotions, hardships, and cool stuff one travels to see, so I would assume that since this was one of my favorites of this ilk, it had everything I liked. Make sense? I just read one that has way too much drama, self-absorption, and introspection (all from 20-somethings) with some talk about the cool stuff they were seeing, which is why I didn't care for Eat, Pray, Love that much.
