With absolutely ADORABLE and breath-taking illustrations, and a theme that made me grin until my face hurt, The Princess and the Three Knights is one of the few "kiddie" books that I actually tell all my friends about.
At the ripe old age of 15 (haha!) I actually read this because we had a bookfair at my school and I thought it was a cute concept because of the Princess-and-Knights-vying-for-her-love aspect, and I am VERY glad I had the chance to read it.
I'm sort of a sucker for chivalry, and Medieval lit, and good old-fashioned romance, but this went BEYOND my expectations. Not to mention the Christian theme that had me feeling good about reading the book as well! It reminded me of the good old days when I was in Sunday School.
I HIGHLY recommend this for any parent to read to their child. It's heart-warming, and undoubtedly entertaining that will have you smiling by the end.
