I keep wavering between three and four stars. I like the book - I enjoyed reading it, but somehow it felt too implausible, especially on the part of Lavinia's story. There was almost too much of a contrast between the good and the bad characters - the bad ones were so horrible and the good ones were just too perfect. On the whole though a pleasurable read.
