Deadeye Dick
by Kurt Vonnegut
yay for another Vonnegut fan! I've been working through all of his novels this year sort of as a homage to the man (and also because it's just something I always intended to do). Hadn't gotten to Deadeye Dick yet, but may try to read it next if Galapagos isn't selected by my book group.
Is Breakfast of Champions your favorite of his then, or which, out of curiosity?
I don't know, if you put a gun to my head I'd probably say it was. But picking a favorite Vonnuegut book is tough.
Between Breakfast, Cat's Cradle, or Hocus Pocus (insanely underrated).

God I love Vonnegut. His most minor books are worth more then most authors main statements.
With both him and Thompson dead I have almost no hope for the future.
I love Breakfast of Champions and this is kind of a bizarre mirror version of it. It'd be hard to argue that this is one of his best, but it's still very worthwhile.
