This review is for a proof edition: A YA supernatural romance without vampires - what a refreshing change! (Although I do love vampires, it does get a bit much.) This is a debut novel from S.C. Ransom and deserves to do well. After a slightly slow start it really is unputdownable - I read it in an afternoon. The suspense builds beautifully, leaving you trying to figure out who is good and who is bad while desperately wanting everything to work out well. A nice cliffhanger ending too - be warned, you'll want to read the next one in the series!
