I don't know what it was about this installment, but it just didn't hold my interest and subsequently took weeks to get through. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it but the story felt like it was trying too hard with the sexual aspects this time around. Maybe I will enjoy the next book more, or possibly the series is on a downward slope for me. We shall see.

Cindy I felt the same way. I reread the first 4 books before this one and I found that I didn't like them as much the second time around. Bones and Kat have a pretty abusive relationship.

Styles I agree. I purchased this upon it's release, dug into it with a vengeance, and then.... found myself losing interest. I figured it was just me and that getting back to it later may be best. Eventually I did, and there were moments I really liked the book, but overall? It was just okay to me.
