This is the third book in Charles Stross' "Laundry" series, which follows civil servant Bob Howard as he works his way up the ranks in the government bureaucracy that employs him. It just so happens that the particular bureaucracy Bob works for is charged with keeping the UK safe from the eldritch horrors that lurk just on the other side of our awareness.

In this latest adventure, Bob must locate the missing "Fuller Memorandum" of the title. If it falls into the wrong hands, those extra-dimensional horrors will come calling much sooner than anticipated.

I did have to re-read some passages to try and keep up with some of the plot twists, but it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the book.
