I really enjoyed the other books in this series and when I saw this book was being released I pre-ordered without a thought and never checked the synopsis. I read the whole book in about two hours but it really doesn't have any story. It is a rehash of the previous books with some ret-con thrown in here and there. The last 33 pages are appendices in dictionary format. I really feel like it was a waste but I am looking forward to the next release this fall.

It was clearly stated that this book would be a companion book, not another novel. Therefore I think your rating was severely unfair. This book has provided exactly what it was stated to be.
