The book is written with several individuals, identified by name, who then tell sections of the story throughout the book.
Mr M-Well liked High School history teacher and student government advisor in 1992,
Paul Warren-Popular, good looking, nice, smart, HS football player.
Tracy Flick-Agressively ambitious, president of the junior class, editor of the school newspaper, star in the school musical and slept with her English teacher.
Tammy Warren- Paul's younger sister, smart, unhappy and attracted to Lisa
Lisa Flanagan-Smart, unhappy friend of Lisa and girlfriend of Paul
The book captures the drama of high school in a relatively realistic way. The book also portrays their lives outside of school,in a way that explains some of what causes the drama in school. A good read.
