A good writer can write about anything and make it interesting. Although I've not read anything by Malcolm Gladwell that didn't cover a topic I wasn't already interested in, I think he could write captivatingly about paint drying. In this case, he's chosen a subject of keen interest to most of us, which is how our brains make decisions, often without our conscious involvement. A quick, engrossing read.
