The Prize
by Julie Garwood

This was my first encounter with a book by JG, and a pleasant one at that! Such a tender love story which was beautifully written!
The characters of Royce and Nicholaa come from enemy backgrounds and are brought together with lots of challenges put in front of them. Nicholaa's feisty character relentlessly stands firm in her beliefs, until Royce opens a whole new bundle of emotions in her. She finds herself instantly attracted to his strong, powerful, calm and handsome traits, but his Norman background is something that she was taught to hate and defy. Thus begins a tale filled with lots of emotion and adventure as their characters develop into something that surprises both of them.
Truly worth the read if romance is your cup of tea!
