** spoiler alert **
These books are so funny.
I kind of can't believe Stephanie actually slept with Ranger! Although I think it's a good thing for the continued tension of the series. Much longer without them getting it on, and I'd be figuring, "Eh, they're never going to actually do it; Morelli's got no real competition." Plus, the timing here worked well - Morelli had just had that line that made it clear he and Stephanie weren't together, period.
Also, I heart Ranger. He's funny.
Aaand, he killed the bad guy! I was kind of wondering how that would possibly go down, as Abruzzi was really bad, and just seemed not to go away. In real life, I'm totally anti-violence and especially anti-killing (capital punishment and war as well as murder), but sometimes in fiction it just becomes really freaking clear that someone's evil and isn't going to stop, and it's nice to have that not-too-shining hero/ine who's willing to just pop a cap in him/her, already.
Also, I heart Valerie. She's funny, too.
