A Lover's Discourse: Fragments
by Roland Barthes
by Roland Barthes
This is one of those must-have books if you're a cultural studies or humanities post-grad and you want to get some sexy intellectual wallowing in about the state of your relationship. It's as self-indulgent as that sounds, but if you're in the right place for it, it really is extraordinarily insightful and interesting. Lots of 'how true' moments. Not for everyone though.
