The Adventures of Duncan Idaho: Heretics of Dune (the fifth book in the series), set over one-thousand years after the conclusion of God Emperor, continues the story of the Dune universe. This novel centers on Duncan Idaho, and further explores his adventures over the span of the series. Several new characters, concepts, and worlds are introduced in this novel, but one of the highlights is a new character by the name of Miles Teg.
