I found the book very disappointing. Moore did a great job of describing the city of San Francisco in detail, but his characters fall flat. The main characters are hard to sympathize with and the plot is rather boring making the romance hard to believe in one's imagination. I think Moore was too ambitious in this book by involving so many characters. If he focused more on the main characters, they would be more likable. Maybe the romance will make more sense if I read the trilogy. However, after reading this book, I don't think I will read the rest of it.

If you want to read something fluffy that you don't want to think too much about, this book will be the ticket. Personally, I like my fluff to make laugh. This book did not do it for me.
