I had a high school friend who grew a beard and got reflective and waxed sufferingly philosophical about all matters, no matter how big or small. Underneath his deep thoughts was the most self-serving twaddle I've ever heard. Wilson’s basically that guy, only he’s an insensitive dolt with a head full o’ puke. He asks people questions and annoyingly comments on them before they’re done answering him, which sounds like a lot of people I meet every day. There were times when this book made me laugh out loud and other times where I wanted to punch his stupid face. Dan Clowes draws Wilson in a different style on each page varying from Cocktail Napkin goofus to photo-realistic Rod McKuen face, and he even resembles movie peeper Leonard Maltin in one laff-filled story. I love this damn book!

Rolls Great review! This is now on my list! thank you!

Andy E-tail your copy because the comic books stores keep selling out. This one's published by Drawn & Quarterly, not Fantagraphics, so the distribution's a little tougher.
