Hmmmmmm......what to say about this book. XVI was an okay read. The premise is interesting and thought provoking but also a little too distrubing for my taste. The writing lacks that emotional connection to care about the story unfortunately. The pacing was okay with only a few moments that dragged at the beginning. I like the friendship and also the family relationship in this book. They were the highlight of the story for me. Overall, this whole 'sex-teen' thing wasn't really my thing but it wasn't a bad read. Nic I am not completely sure I am in the mood for it after my good contemp fiction. So hopefully it is good....

Nomes I am in a funk ~ I just want to read something that sucks me in and doesn't let go. I just finished dash and lily and found it very blah. might be just me feeling restless with lying around reading al day. Am getting weary of it (haven;t been to work since Nov 2010!)

not sure what I will read tonight (about to go and climb into bed).

are you liking this so far?

Nic I haven't really started. Just re-reading favourite parts of Stealing Heaven. Will get into tomorrow. I have the day off as I have a large sun spot cut out ~eek~!

I think I would be feeling restless too if I had been on bed rest as long as you. I think you need a good contemp fiction. If you want to borrow anything off my shelves let me know.

Nomes good luck with tom! and I love that you are re-reading parts of stealing heaven :) I do that all the time (mainly any parts with Greg in it :D

I just started re-reading Charlie Duskin and am ignoring my TBR ~ not in the mood for any of them. Can't sleep (you know, after being in bed all day and napping half the time I am on a weird body clock)

Nic Thanks Nomes! I have already have it done this morning and I can tell you stitches in your neck feel funny! I have to wait a week for the results. Love A Little Wanting Song/Charlie Duskin. Crowley said she changed the copies slightly. I would love to compare.

Tina, I think it is definitely going to be an interesting read.
