So quick! Also fun. I get really edgy reading(/watching) Ephron, 'cause everyone is so wealthy all the time and really fond of adhering to boring old social strictures, but, this is a funny book no matter what, and the voice is super-good. Also I watched "When Harry Met Sally..." for the first time within hours of finishing this, and Nora totally reused two jokes from HEARTBURN in WHMS. Caught you, Nora. Several decades later, but still. CAUGHT YOU.

7/12: On re-read, liked this even more. Three-and-a-half stars, it should be. Jokes are on top of you before you know it, rough and witty and bold.

Sarah I was just reading about this book last night in the book "So many books, so little time." I think maybe we'd enjoy it more if we were of that generation? Who knows?!

Sara The scenes in her group therapy...um, group...had me laughing hysterically. Do people still do that, get together and mercilessly point out each other's flaws under the cover of psychological healing? Sign me up!
