High school freshman, Callie, is a member of the exclusive I-Girls, the most popular girls in the grade, but they are not her only friends. Callie was also secretly friends with the mysterious and eccentric Amanda Valentino, whom Callie felt she could be herself around. But then one day Callie is called down to the Vice Principals' office to be questioned about Amanda's whereabouts after the VP's car was vandalized. Callie, and two other freshmen, Nia and Hal, are being accused of keeping secrets about Amanda, when it only becomes clear that Amanda was keeping secrets from them. Nia and Hal were also friends with Amanda, although none of the three knew about each other, and all three were told by Amanda that she was their "spirit guide" through high school. Amanda leaves clues for the three to follow, like envelopes and riddles, and they must learn to work together if they ever want to see Amanda again.

This book was weird. It's not a story in itself, but only the beginning of a story. Invisible I is only the first book in a proposed eight book series. Nothing is resolved, they only build a website. I enjoyed it until I realized nothing substantial would happen. I see now that there is some gimmicky thing the authors are trying to do. They are trying to get people to go on and make this series some type of experience. I'm not into that crap. I might read the second one if I get to read it free, but I certainly won't buy it. You won't make a pawn out of me, Amanda!!

This book also took me forevah to read!
