I love adventure books. This one brings its intrepid explorers on a quest to find the deepest cave on earth. This is a task fraught with danger and not everyone makes it out alive. The book suffers a bit from some disjointed narration. Sometimes I found I wasn't quite sure who the 'hero' of the book was as the narrative focus shifted from one country to another. Despite this, the 'in-depth' (pardon the pun) accounts of the dangers of the cave were simply fascinating. I'm adding deep-cave exploring on the list of things I won't be too soon attempting.
