While I thoroughly enjoyed this book it was for the subject matter rather than wonderful prose or dialogues. The book is easy to read, well enough written, but there is a sense of passion in it, the sense that the writer knows exactly what she is writing about that makes this book fascinating.
I also liked the fact that this book about transsexuals, was not written from the point of view of a transsexual, but rather from the sister's point of view. It made for a poignant look into how affected a family member can be when trying to accept the differences of a loved one.
Very important book to give to young and older readers alike, in order to open up a new outlook on trans-sexuality, or trans-gender issues.
