I love Dick, but this book was just a bit too scattered throughout for me to follow coherently. I never really felt like any of the characters were properly developed, and the story didn't really make any sense until the last few pages.

Usually I can devour a short novel in a day or two, but this one was pretty painful for me to get through, it probably took me closer to two weeks to finish, and that is a long time for a 200 page novel.

I constantly had to keep flipping back through to book to try and keep my bearings, and that isn't really the mark of a good book. If you love Dick, then this is worth reading, otherwise, stick to his better work.
